Here we present you several tutorials on the forum usage. They cover the fundamental operations for registered users including registration, posting new topics, replying to topics, and subscription to certain topic. Here you can also find videos for forum moderators concerning forum moderation. We will keep this page updated when new features are available.
Note that the tutorial videos are in .mov format, which means they require Quick Time to be played. If you do not have it installed, you can download it for free from here.

Forum Registration
It is the most essential process a user should go through to have access to most of this website's functionalities. The register button can be found on top of this page, and clicking on it will bring you to the registration form. Once the form is filled in and submitted, an automatic email with an activation link will then be send to the email address you provided in the form. Please check your email inbox after a few minutes and locate the above mentioned email. To complete the registration process, just click on the activation link inside.
Please note that upon submitting the registration form, a user has 24 hours to activate their account through the confirmation email. If the account is not activated in time, he/she would need to fill in and resubmit the registration form again.

Post New Topic
To be able to post any topic, you must first be registered with this website and is logged in. Then, at the forum page, first select the corresponding forum. Once you are in the topic listing page, the New Topic button can be found. The button will bring you to the topic posting form. When the title and content is filled, click the post button to post the topic.
Now the topic posted is sent to the forum's moderator for reviewing, and the post will not show up until it is approved by the moderator of the forum. Once the post is reviewed by responsible moderator, whether it is approved or rejected, an email notification would be sent to your registered email address.

Post Reply
To be able to post any reply, you must first be registered with this website and is logged in. At the forum page, first select the corresponding topic; then at the end of the topic page, you will find the reply form.Once it is filled and ready, click the post button.
Now the reply post is sent to the forum's moderator for reviewing, and the reply will not show up until it is approved by a moderator of the forum. Once the reply is reviewed by a responsible moderator, whether it is approved or rejected, an email notification would be sent to your registered email address.

Subscribe to A Topic
To be able to subscribe, you must first be registered with this website and is logged in. Then, at the forum page, first select the corresponding topic. At the topic page, the subscribe button can be found, to subscribe, just simply click it. The button will then change to Unsubscribe, so to unsubscribe, just simple click it again.
Once you are subscribed to a topic, any approved new reply to the topic will generate a notification email to your registered email address.

Manage Moderator Group
Each forum has their corresponding moderator group, and every user that belongs to the group is a moderator of the corresponding forum. A moderator has the right to modify the moderator group he or she is in. This includes adding new user into the group, and removing current member of the group.
To do so, first make sure you are currently logged in as a moderator, and then click on the Admin button. This will bring you to the admin interface, where Forum Management can be selected.
Now you should be looking at the moderator management interface. On the left is the list of all the current users, and there is also a quick search box. On the right, there is a drop down box, from which you can select the moderator group. Once a specific group is selected, the users belonging to that group are shown, including the current user. To add new members, select the users from the left panel, and press Add user button. Multi-selection is also available. To remove current members, select their user name(s) and click remove. Note that you can also remove yourself from the group is you so wish.

Review Posts
To be able to review any post, you must be registered with the website and has an admin or forum moderator credential. In the case where you are a forum moderator, you can only review posts from the forum you moderate.
To review the new posts, first make sure you are logged in, and then get into the corresponding forum. At the top of the topic listings, you will find some topics that are marked red and has ‘pending’ attached. This indicates that either the topic is newly posted, or there is a new reply inside an approved old topic. By click into a pending topic, you will find that new posts have the two additional ‘approve’ and ‘reject’ options.
To reject the post, simply click on the reject button, this will bring up a window. In it is the default comment that will be sent to the post author. Feel free to edit it as you see fit. Once ready, just press the ‘submit’ button. To approve a post, just simply press ‘approve’.
There is an alternative way to review posts, which allows the moderators to review posts through his or her email-box. This is because, whenever a new post is created in a forum, its moderators get an email notice, and inside those emails are links that will lead you to the post review page where you are review them without sign in into the website.
