From CISEREUPI
- Idea: Most research teams are composed of researchers from many nations. Students need to be able to work in a research team outside their own country.
- Objective: Preparing student to work in international teams all over the world.
- What works well: The home university of the student should have a climate where studying abroad is a good thing. A study abroad program should include studying of subjects related to the major.
- What doesn’t work so well: Some study abroad program are more about experiencing the social culture and not about learning and living. These kind of programs are not helpful.
- Assessment data: Use indicator of whether students actually worked in research teams outside their country.
