1. Mary Hall Reno's REU poster page which includes Powerpoint and LaTeX templates.
2. Colin Purrington's advice on preparing a poster
3. Advice on making and presenting a poster from the American Physiological Society
4. Soren Clark has a nice collection of example posters and templates.
5. Gary Ritchison gives some very sound advice on the process of making a poster.
