• Idea: Invite researchers in academia and industry to share their experiences in conducting research.
• Objective: Invite female researchers to share their experience of conducting research. The speakers do not only share their experience of how to conduct research but also how to build a successful carrier in research as a female researcher.
• What works well: Biweekly presentations during lunch with extensive time for questions.
• What doesn’t work well: N/A.
• Assessment: Surveys and interviews conducted at the end of the REU show the impact of the presentations.
