• Idea: The students should leave the REU site with a positive Research Experience.
• Objective: Build up the confidence that that they are capable of doing reseearch.
• What works well: The research project needs to be scalable so it can be adjusted to the students existing skill set.
• What doesn’t work well: Having projects, which are extremely high reaching.
• Assessment: The survey at the end of the REU.
